Bio/Description

Eric Manning is a Postdoctoral Research Associate with DDSS, where he is building tools that enable researchers in the social sciences to more easily query, merge, and analyze large datasets. His academic research focuses on political participation, inequality, and campaign finance in the United States.

Eric completed his PhD in Politics from Princeton University in 2023. His dissertation examined modern campaign financing in the United States, with a focus on online contribution behavior and campaign messaging. Before coming to Princeton, Eric earned a BA in Government from Cornell University in 2017.
