Apply for Research Software and Data Engineering Support 

Currently, our RSE program only provides in-kind support for Princeton faculty members. We welcome two types of submission requests:

1. Small-scale: These self-contained projects should have a deliverable that is shovel-ready, lasting approximately 2-3 weeks. Small project proposals are accepted on a rolling basis
2. Large-scale: These projects are more involved, with an initial agreement of 3-12 months, if selected. Calls for large project proposals depend on RSE availability.

To apply, please send a short description (< 1 page) of your project and what you specifically seek from an RSE. Proposals should be submitted online at ddss.princeton.edu/form/rse-proposal.

Proposals from any discipline will be considered, provided the project focus falls within social science. In addition to prioritizing innovation in social science, DDSS evaluates proposals based on their scope, deliverables, timeline and potential to produce impactful public goods.
